Labels and aisle signs

The Labels section generates printable warehouse labels and signs. It supports location labels, aisle signs, UPC labels, QR codes, arrows, custom sizing, and common thermal formats.

Location labels

Location labels can be generated from a pattern or a custom list. Users can control:

  • stock/label size,
  • title,
  • subtitle,
  • text size,
  • barcode, QR code, or no scan code,
  • scan code size,
  • up/down arrow,
  • generated range and padding,
  • custom list of codes.

Supported formats include sheet labels, 3 x 2 labels, 4 x 6 rack/location labels, and 60 mm x 40 mm thermal labels.

Aisle signs

Aisle signs are usually printed on letter paper or large sign stock. Users can select:

  • standard sign design,
  • framed design,
  • aisle range,
  • text size,
  • print layout.

QR codes

QR codes should encode the same location value shown on the label. If a QR code looks too small or broken, increase the scan code size or switch to a larger label stock.

Printing tips

  • On macOS print dialog, use scaling/positioning options that keep content centered.
  • Disable browser headers and footers.
  • Use 100% scale when printing thermal labels.
  • Print a small test batch before printing hundreds of labels.
  • Scan a few labels with the actual warehouse device before placing them.

Labels from Warehouse Layout

When a rack is selected in the Warehouse Layout canvas, the same label design options are available. This lets users print labels directly from generated rack locations without rebuilding the list in the standalone Labels tool.
