Before you start

  • Confirm the origin warehouse and destination warehouse.
  • Know the products, SKUs, and quantities to transfer.
  • Have the recipient/contact details your team uses for transfer orders.

Steps

  1. Go to Orders.
  2. Open Orders.
  3. Select Create order.
  4. Turn on Transfer Order.
  5. In Select a warehouse, choose the origin warehouse.
  6. In Select a destination warehouse, choose the destination warehouse.
  7. Add products by searching in Search Items by ID or name, using Add filter, or selecting IMPORT PRODUCTS FROM CSV if your workflow uses a CSV.
  8. Review the product rows:
    • Product name
    • Product sku
    • Quantity at origin
    • Quantity at destination
    • Quantity
  9. Enter the transfer quantity for each product.
  10. Add the required contact fields, such as Phone number, Name of recipient, and Email.
  11. Add instructions when the transfer needs handling notes.
  12. Set Desired order date.
  13. Select CREATE ORDER.
  14. Confirm the success message appears.
  15. Return to Order Dashboard and confirm the new row appears with Order type set to Transfer.
