This article explains how to use the Warehouse Layout Manager to modify your warehouse map for route picking. Follow these steps to add or modify locations in your warehouse layout.

Accessing the Warehouse Layout Manager

  1. Navigate to the warehouse details section in your account.

  2. Click the "Manage Warehouse layout" button to open the Warehouse Layout Manager.

Modifying the Warehouse Map

  1. Set the warehouse dimensions:

    • Enter the width in the "Width" field (each cell represents a bay).

    • Enter the height in the "Height" field (each cell represents a row).

  2. Define start and end points for picking routes:

    • Toggle "Choose start point" to set the route's starting location.

    • Toggle "Choose end point" to set the route's ending location.

  3. Customize the grid:

    • Left-click to grey out locations that should be blocked for routes.

    • Right-click to set specific locations:

      • Set row names

      • Define racking or shelving nodes

      • Set bay numbers

      • Add custom locations

  4. Click "Update warehouse layout" to save your changes.

Best Practices

  • A larger layout may increase route computation time. Consider organizing by merchant if products are physically closer in the warehouse.

  • Regularly review and update your warehouse layout to ensure it accurately reflects your physical space.
