Troubleshooting Common 2Ship Error Codes

When using the 2Ship integration for order fulfillment, you may encounter various error codes. This article will help you understand and resolve some of the most common issues.
Error: 2Ship did not return a carrier id
This error typically occurs when there's an issue with the carrier selection process. If you encounter this error:
Wait a short period and try to recreate the shipment.
If the issue persists, check if there are any known carrier outages.
Verify that all required shipping information is correctly filled out.
Error 7048: HS Tariff code format
This error occurs when the Harmonized System (HS) Tariff code for a product is not in the correct format. To resolve:
Go to the product edit page.
Locate the "HT Code" field.
Ensure the HS Tariff code includes a minimum of 6 digits in the correct format.
Verify that all products in the order have consistent HS code formatting.

Error 8900: System Error
This is a general system error that may occur due to various reasons. If you encounter this error:
Try to recreate the shipment using the "Recreate order shipment" button.
If the issue persists, contact technical support for further assistance.

General Troubleshooting Tips
Always verify that customer information is filled out correctly and in the proper format.
If an error persists after retrying, check for any known carrier or system outages.
