Why can't I cancel an order that's in the packing stage?

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have reached the packing stage. This is an intentional system design to protect both merchants and warehouse operations.

Why is cancellation disabled during packing?

  • To ensure proper compensation for work already performed, including picking fees

  • To maintain accurate inventory tracking and system records

  • To enforce proper return procedures when items need to be returned to storage

What to do if you need to cancel an order in packing stage

If you need to cancel an order that's already in the packing stage, follow these steps:

  1. Complete packing the order

  2. Mark the order as shipped or completed in the system

  3. Create a return for the order through the normal return process

Note: Cancellation fees apply if orders are cancelled during the picking stage. Orders in packing stage must follow the return process.
