How do I properly use batch picking in Logentic?

Last updated: October 23, 2025

Context

Batch picking is a beta feature in Logentic that allows users to process multiple identical orders simultaneously. However, there are specific requirements and limitations that need to be followed to ensure successful batch picking operations.

Answer

When using batch picking in Logentic, follow these important guidelines to avoid common issues:

  1. Always process pick and pack operations separately for batch orders. Do not create combined pick/pack events as this will cause the activity to glitch and not display properly.

  2. If you encounter any issues during batch picking:

    • Document the batch ID and affected order numbers

    • Take screenshots of any error messages

    • Contact support immediately as batch picking issues are treated as P0 (Urgent) priority

Important: Batch Picking is currently in Beta. While the feature is available for use, you may occasionally encounter issues that require support intervention.

If your batch picking activity becomes stuck or shows errors:

  1. Check that you haven't accidentally created a combined pick/pack event

  2. If the issue persists, contact support with your batch ID and specific order numbers affected
