Why isn't Country of Origin (COO) showing for some products in WMS?

Context

When viewing products in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), the Country of Origin (COO) information may be missing for some SKUs, even if this information is present in Shopify.

Answer

The Country of Origin (COO) information is only synchronized from Shopify during the initial product sync (when the product is first created in the WMS). If the COO information was not present in Shopify during the initial sync, it will not automatically update in the WMS even if added later in Shopify.

To resolve this issue, you have two options:

Option 1: Add COO directly in WMS

You can manually add the COO information using the Bulk Editor in the Inventory section of the WMS.

Option 2: Wait for Product Webhooks

A new feature called Product Webhooks is planned for release. Once implemented, any changes made to product information in Shopify will automatically sync to the WMS in real-time.

For products with multiple countries of origin, it's recommended to add the information manually in the WMS or Merchant Platform until the Product Webhooks feature is available.
