How to resolve "This shipment is still syncing" error

When attempting to create a shipment, you may occasionally encounter the error message "This shipment is still syncing, please wait and retry." This error occurs when a previous shipping attempt encountered issues and the system's sync status became stuck.

Immediate Solutions

  1. First, wait a few minutes and try creating the shipment again, as the sync may complete on its own.

  2. If the error persists, attempt to use the "Ship External" option to process the shipment outside of the automated system.

When "Ship External" Also Fails

If you receive the same error when attempting to ship external, this indicates that the shipment is stuck in a syncing state. In this case:

  1. Contact our support team to have the sync status reset

  2. Once the sync status is reset, you will be able to proceed with shipping the order externally

Common causes for this error include:

  • Multiple shipping attempts in quick succession

  • Rate finding issues

  • Temporary carrier service disruptions
